Set in a mix of the old and the new, classic and modern, countrified and urban, we will gladly welcome you on our terrace in the shadow of the chestnut tree.

From 1989 until 2021:  Philippe’s kitchen was a mix of simplicity and time. From beef stewed for 60 hours by slow-cooking, to courgettes grown in the garden or a freshly picked salad just minutes before it lands on your plate. We have gone back to the basic essentials, original tastes bridging to today’s fashion and obviously 100% home made.

AS OF 2023:

After having been closed for over a year in order to develop recipes for Philippe’s new way of cooking we open this year with a new range of meals. No slow-cooking anymore on low-temperature but a conversion was made to meals (without gluten or lactose) in jars cooked on high temperature for luncheon and bistro-style meals in the evening.  Informal, tasty and of course 100% home made.

Unfortunately – even by asking English speaking guests – we did not find a good understandable translation for our way of cooking yet… (advice is welcome !)

During the day the boutique will be opened and guests will be able to have luncheon out of a jar on the terrace. In the evenings Philippe will prepare meals being served on dishes.

April-15 July:  closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays,  open from 12h to 21.30h

15 July-15 August: open from Thursdays to Tuesday from 12h to 21.30. On Wednesdays we only serve dinners from 19 to 21.30
